Welcome Back

Welcome back to the second half of the autumn term.

I hope you all had a wonderful break.

Please be mindful of the weather and make sure you are prepared!

Autumn 2 newsletter : file (252.6k)

Here you'll find information about things we are doing in class this half term. Please make sure you are signed up to parent mail and dojo as we try to post things as they happen so these will be more up-to-date.

I have been very impressed to see some outstanding homework from Year 3! Well done!

Don't forget that I expect homework to be presented neatly, be of a high quality and handed in on Wednesdays.

Remember to put the homework code (eg A1 or C3 etc) and the date at the top of each piece of work.

Here you will find an overview of the topics we plan to cover over the year.

In this lesson we used our tables to map out areas of the school using post-it notes. Each group then put an X and we had to use geographical language to identify the position of each X.

Don't forget . . .

Just a reminder that PE is on Friday and swimming is on Thursday.

Indoor PE kit is navy or black shorts, white t-shirt and pumps.

Outdoor PE kit is navy or black tracksuit and trainers.

For health and safety reasons no jewellery is worn during PE. If you wear earings they must be removed or bring your own plasters/micropore tape to cover them.

Don't forget that spellings, home reading and times tables should be being practiced continuously throughout the year. Children will also have logins for MyMaths, Times Tables Rockstars and Purple Mash.

Class Dojo

If you haven't already, please sign up to the Class Dojo Reward System being used throughout school. Your login details were sent home with your child. If these details have been misplaced please let us know and we can give you another copy.

Class Dojo is a great way to keep up to date with class news/photographs and see the reasons why your child is being awarded points by the class teacher!
