Forest School
At Newchurch St. Nicholas Primary school, Forest School gives children the chance to learn and explore in the great outdoors. Through activities like building dens, working with natural materials, learning about wildlife, and developing teamwork skills, children grow in confidence and independence. Forest School encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of nature by giving pupils regular time to play, discover, and problem‑solve in a safe outdoor environment. Whether they are jumping in puddles, using tools safely, or investigating the changing seasons, children learn important life skills while having fun and developing a deep respect for the natural world.
